GKM Corporation has turned Green Environmentally!
GKM has been recognized for over 30 years as one of the largest printer’s in the Western United States, producing forms for a wide variety of industries. These industries trust their business to GKM, who not only produce consistent high quality printing, but also leaves a smaller footprint in the Environment. Once again, GKM Corporation, a leader in the printing industry, has been recognized for the fifth consecutive year for our continued contributions to the Waste Reduction Awards Program.
In participating fully with the Waste Reduction Awards Program, we further our commitment and 
responsibility, to cleaning our environment. “W.R.A.P.” promotes and awards those companies actively involved in recycling, cleansing, proper storage of waste materials prior to recycling, recovery of excess ink and working closely with waste contractors, City, County, State and Federal regulations.
For the last several years GKM has provided 100% of the requirement for recycling for the town of Colfax. All paper waste gets picked up once a week and recycled. GKM does not stop with paper, anything that can be recycled is recycled. When we are finished with the plates from a job the plates are recycled. Cardboard, batteries, computer equipment, you name it we recycle it.
Our production team has made it their goal to reduce the amount of pollution that GKM is putting into the environment. We have moved from solvent based inks to soy based inks without sacrificing our quality. Our fountain solutions are non-alcohol based providing a cleaner environment and a healthier work environment.
GKM is and will continue to be ahead of the curve on committing to a greener environment.
